Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center
The CCNHC serves as a gateway to the approximately 2900 acres comprised of rare bottomland habitat, surprisingly diverse flora and fauna, all surrounding the confluence of Clear Creek and the Elm Fork of the Trinity River.

The above plan shows far into the future of the planning Denton has already done as a city. Even though this plan was put together over 10 years ago, the DMO and stakeholders continue to revise it as they find out more and do more pertinent research.

The link above shows the Greenbelt map with a simple directory. This path gives anyone the option to enjoy nature and get some exercise. This may seem like an easy or simple thing to offer, but it takes true commitment and imagination to keep the natural beauty of a growing city alive.
