This year, The City of Denton, along with many local and
regional water providers, have coordinated with Home Depot to provide free Fix
a Leak Workshops on Saturday, March 19. They'll show you all the tricks and
tips you'll need to put a stop to those nagging leaks.
This kind of activity makes it easy for the community to get involved. They pair with a local business and provided 3 short sessions for locals to come and learn during their spare time. Knowledge of water conservation gives residents the option to take part in the sustainability of their community.

Almost 50 percent of household water is used for toilets
and showers, an approximately 10,000 gallons per household is lost each year
from leaking toilets, faucets, and valves!
